Hello my beauties! My name is Parasrevi, or "Toula" as my friends call me. I am the owner and artist behind Make My Day Design. Though trained in Emergency Medicine, my heart always belonged to creativity and nature. When the stressors of the medical field reached a critical mass for me during the past few years, I turned to my original loves: the outdoors and art, to help me cope with my overwhelming sadness and frustration. I wanted to focus on expressing myself and all my quirkiness, while also creating joyful pieces and cultivating positive interactions with others. I found I was able to do this with the simplest of objects, sticks and string. And from there Make My Day Design was born.
Make My Day Design is a woman-owned handmade small business that creates joyful and colorful large scale art pieces, housewares, and accessories that are unique, bold, and beautiful! The things I create are meant to put some life into your space, and joy into you life, while also serving as a way to express the funky and non traditional parts of all us. Everything is hand made, with almost all of our products created from reclaimed and recycled natural fibers as well as other repurposed and found organic materials.
